A comfortable pace with light walking and moderate time on your feet. Guests should be able to walk through attractions, hotels, and restaurants at an easy pace and manage short distances independently. Some stairs or slightly uneven terrain may be encountered, but rest opportunities are built into the itinerary. Great for travelers who enjoy sightseeing with manageable activity levels.

Our Ireland adventure begins as we gather in Chicago for our overnight flight to Dublin. Sit back, relax, and prepare for a memorable journey filled with beautiful scenery, rich history, Irish hospitality, and wonderful fellowship.
Tuesday, May 4, 2027 (D)
Upon arrival at Dublin International Airport, we will meet our professional guide and board our private deluxe motor coach. From there, we transfer into the heart of Dublin and check in to our hotel, where there will be time to settle in and freshen up after the overnight flight. This evening, we will gather for a welcome briefing and enjoy a special group dinner together as we begin our Ireland journey.
Wednesday, May 5, 2027 (B, D)
Today we discover the historic and cultural treasures of Dublin. Our sightseeing includes a visit to the famous Book of Kells and the magnificent Old Library at Trinity College, followed by St. Patrick’s Cathedral, one of Ireland’s most treasured landmarks. We will also see the exterior and surrounding area of Christ Church Cathedral. A Dublin Hop-On Hop-Off pass gives us flexibility to enjoy more of the city at our own pace. Later, we will visit Teeling Distillery for a guided tour and whiskey tasting experience before gathering again for dinner in Dublin.
Thursday, May 6, 2027 (B, L)
This morning we depart Dublin and travel west across Ireland toward Galway. Along the way, we will stop at Clonmacnoise, an early Christian monastic site beautifully situated along the River Shannon. After an included lunch en route, we continue to Galway and check in to our hotel near the city center. There will be time to explore the colorful streets of Galway’s Latin Quarter before enjoying an excursion by boat to the Aran Islands. This evening, we experience the energy and beauty of Irish music and dance at Trad on the Prom, one of Galway’s beloved cultural performances.
Friday, May 7, 2027 (B, D)
Today’s journey takes us into County Clare for one of Ireland’s most breathtaking natural wonders, the Cliffs of Moher. We will visit the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience and, weather permitting, enjoy a guided walk along the cliff path with unforgettable views over the Atlantic Ocean. We will also explore The Burren, a remarkable limestone landscape known for its rare flora and rugged beauty. Our day continues with a scenic drive along the Wild Atlantic Way before returning to Galway for an evening at leisure.
Saturday, May 8, 2027 (B, D)
After breakfast, we depart Galway and travel south toward Killarney. Along the way, we will make a scenic stop in Adare, often called one of Ireland’s prettiest villages, known for its thatched cottages and historic charm. We may also enjoy an exterior view of King John’s Castle in Limerick before continuing into County Kerry. Upon arrival in Killarney, we check in to our hotel and enjoy some free time to explore the town or the nearby entrance to Killarney National Park. This evening, we will enjoy a group dinner at The Laurels, a traditional Irish pub restaurant in Killarney.
Sunday, May 9, 2027 (B, D)
Today is devoted to one of Ireland’s most famous scenic drives, the Ring of Kerry. This full-day guided excursion takes us through some of the most beautiful landscapes in County Kerry, with stops and views near Killorglin, Cahersiveen, Waterville, Sneem, and Kenmare. We will pause for photos at Ladies’ View, offering a spectacular panorama over the Lakes of Killarney, and visit Torc Waterfall in Killarney National Park. We will also enjoy a traditional jaunting car ride through the National Park before returning to our hotel in Killarney.
Monday, May 10, 2027 (B, D)
This morning we leave Killarney and travel toward County Cork for a visit to Blarney Castle and Gardens, where guests may choose to climb the castle and kiss the famous Blarney Stone. We will have time to enjoy the beautiful grounds before continuing northeast to Kilkenny, Ireland’s medieval capital. In Kilkenny, we will enjoy a guided walking tour featuring the city’s castle area, St. Canice’s Cathedral, and charming medieval streets, followed by free time in the craft quarter and Kilkenny Design Centre. Later, we return to Dublin for our final overnight stay and a special farewell dinner together.
Tuesday, May 11, 2027 (B)
After breakfast, we transfer by private coach to Dublin Airport for our return flight home. We say farewell to Ireland with wonderful memories of its landscapes, history, music, hospitality, and the special experiences shared along the way. Safe travels home!
