Easy and relaxed A very relaxed pace with minimal physical activity. Walking is limited and generally on flat, paved surfaces, with plenty of opportunities to rest. Monday, April 5, 2027 (L,D)
Our journey begins in WI. From there we settle in for the drive south, with a comfort stop along the way and a hearty lunch at a local restaurant. We arrive in Kansas City and check into The Westin Kansas City at Crowne Center. In the evening, we come together for a welcome dinner at a Kansas City barbecue restaurant – a local favorite and a warm way to start our time together.
Tuesday, April 6, 2027 (B,L)
After breakfast at the hotel, we head out for a guided trolley tour of Kansas City, stepping aboard at the historic Union Station. Lunch will be enjoyed at a Kansas City restaurant, arranged by your tour director. We also visit the American Jazz Museum and Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, two of the city's most meaningful stops. The evening is yours to explore – wander the Power & Light District or Country Club Plaza and enjoy dinner on your own.
Wednesday, April 7, 2027 (B,D)
After breakfast and checkout, we visit the National WWI Museum and Memorial before beginning our drive east to St. Louis. Lunch is on your own along the way, with a comfort stop to stretch our legs. Once we arrive in St. Louis, we check into the Drury Plaza Hotel at the Arch, right in the heart of downtown, with dinner included at the hotel this evening.
Thursday, April 8, 2027 (B,L,D)
Start the day with the hotel's included hot breakfast before heading to Gateway Arch National Park and Museum for a morning of history and unforgettable views. From there, we visit the Missouri Botanical Garden, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the country, with lunch included at the garden's café. In the evening, we enjoy dinner at an Italian restaurant on The Hill, a beloved St. Louis neighborhood known for its Italian heritage.
Friday, April 9, 2027 (B,L)
After breakfast and checkout, we begin our journey home, with a comfort stop along the way and lunch at a local restaurant. From there we make our way back into Wisconsin, with drop-offs in Milwaukee, Allenton, Lomira, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, and Appleton, before concluding in Green Bay.
