  • Q: Where are we going?

A: That is the fun of a Mystery Tour — we are not telling you just yet. What we can tell you is that the trip is thoughtfully planned by Tom’s Christian Tours, with comfortable pacing, interesting stops, Christian fellowship, and the kind of “I never would have planned this myself” moments that make mystery trips memorable.
  • Q: Why book a trip if I do not know the destination?

A: Because sometimes it is a gift to let someone else handle the details. A Mystery Tour is for travelers who enjoy a little surprise, trust TCT’s planning, and like the idea of simply getting on the coach and watching the trip unfold. You do not have to compare hotels, research attractions, or build the route. We take care of that.
  • Q: Will this feel like a real trip or just a few random stops?

A: It will feel like a real TCT trip. The destination may be a mystery, but the planning is not. The goal is a well-paced itinerary with meaningful stops, comfortable lodging, included experiences, and enough variety to make the surprise worthwhile.
  • Q: What makes this a Christian tour?

A: With Tom’s Christian Tours, the difference is the atmosphere. You are traveling with people who appreciate prayer, devotions, Christian fellowship, and a warm group spirit. The destination is a surprise, but the tone of the trip is familiar: faith-friendly, personal, and welcoming.
  • Q: What if I come by myself?

A: You are welcome. Mystery Tours can be especially nice for solo travelers because everyone is discovering the trip together. The motorcoach, meals, devotions, and shared surprises give you natural ways to visit with others without feeling like you have to force conversation.
  • Q: Is this a good trip to take with friends?

A: Yes. A Mystery Tour is a fun one to take with a spouse, sibling, church friend, or another couple because the surprise becomes part of the shared memory. You will have plenty to talk about along the way.
  • Q: How active is this tour?

A: The exact stops are part of the mystery, but guests should be comfortable with normal motorcoach travel: boarding and exiting the coach, walking through hotels and restaurants, moving through attractions, and keeping up with the group schedule. If you have mobility concerns, please call TCT before booking so we can talk honestly about whether this trip is a good fit.
  • Q: What should I pack if I do not know where we are going?

A: Pack practical, comfortable travel clothes. Bring layers, comfortable walking shoes, medications, a light jacket, and a small day bag for the coach. Since this is a fall trip, layers are especially helpful. TCT will provide any important packing guidance guests need before departure.
  • Q: Is this a motorcoach tour?

A: Yes, this is planned as a TCT group tour by motorcoach. That means you do not have to drive, navigate, park, or figure out where the group goes next. You can sit back, visit, rest, and enjoy the surprise as it unfolds.
  • Q: What kind of hotels and meals should I expect?

A: TCT aims for comfortable lodging, well-run restaurants, and quality experiences without turning the trip into luxury-priced travel. You can expect the same practical, mid-to-premium approach TCT is known for: clean, comfortable places to stay and group-friendly meals that fit the route.
  • Q: How do I know I can trust TCT with a mystery trip?

A: Tom’s Christian Tours has been serving Christian travelers for more than 30 years and has welcomed more than 10,000 travelers. TCT is a Midwest family company, not a call center, and guests come back because they feel known, cared for, and personally guided. A Mystery Tour works because that trust is already part of the relationship.
  • Q: What if I am still unsure whether a Mystery Tour is right for me?

A: Call TCT and tell us what makes you hesitate. Maybe it is the unknown destination, the walking, rooming alone, food, cost, or simply wondering whether you will enjoy not knowing the plan. We would rather answer your real questions before you book than have you quietly worry and miss a trip that could be a lot of fun.

Experience thoughtfully planned adventures that combine exceptional destinations, genuine fellowship, and the comfort of traveling with a trusted Christian community.

Tour Directors Who Pray With You, Not Just Greet You

Our directors lead the devotions, share their own faith stories, and join the dinner conversation. They aren't hired guides reading a script; for them, leading Christian travel is a calling, not a paycheck.

A Midwest Family Company, three Generations Deep

Scott and Tammy ran TCT for 13 years and their son Tom and his wife Becca run it today. Call us and you'll reach a real human: no call center, no hold queue, no outsourced bookings desk.

Premium Travel Without the Luxury Markup

We don't pretend to be Four Seasons or Viking Cruises. We pick mid-to-premium hotels, well-run restaurants, and quality experiences without the luxury markup, so you get comfort and real value without paying for a brand name

Comfortable Pacing, Designed for the Long Haul

We don't cram 14 cities into 7 days. Our itineraries leave room for free afternoons, sit-down meals, and the kind of pacing that lets you come home rested instead of running on fumes.

Christian Travel That Goes Beyond Bible Lands

Most Christian tours specialize in Israel and Egypt. We travel all across the US and around the world because we know it’s not the destination that matters, it's the like-minded people that make every place feel closer to home.

A Fellowship That Feels Like Family

Most tour groups scatter at the end of the trip and never speak again. Our guests trade Christmas cards, host each other for dinner back home, and rebook the next trip together year after year
